Northwest Washington Little League
Summer 2008
Summer 2008

The Northwest Washington Little League is looking forward to its Summer Program again this year. We hope to form six teams – 9U, 10U, 11U, 12U, 13U, and a combined 14U and 15U. The program is open to all players who are at least 8 and under the age of 15 as of May 1st, 2008.

The teams will practice regularly at Friendship and other nearby fields, play in local area tournaments, and play non-tournament games with other DC area youth baseball organizations. Players of all ability levels are invited to every practice, and historically, almost everyone has played in a number of games throughout the summer. The coach of each team will select a team to compete in any given week from among the players present that week.

Games will be played at various locations in the DC area. Some games will likely be at Friendship. Tournaments will generally involve some additional travel time and will be as far away as Bowie, MD.

Summer baseball begins week of June 9 and will be in the evenings to accommodate players attending day camps. The program continues through the end of July. Players do not need to be available every week in order to participate.
