Equipment and Uniforms

Unifoms
At the beginning of each season, uniforms are distributed to the players by the team coaches, who receive the uniforms from the Division Commissioners. At a minimum, each uniform consists of a hat and numbered team shirt. Players own their uniform and must wear their uniform to each scheduled game. Extra or spare uniforms are usually very limited, if available at all, and should be kept by the team coaches in case needed during the season.

All players are encouraged to wear molded cleats for games and practices. Metal, spikes or interchangeable cleats are not allowed to be worn by anyone participating in NWLL.

Game Equipment
Game equipment is distributed to coaches at the beginning of each season by the NWLL Equipment Manager, contacted at equipment@nwlldc.org. Set days and times are usually scheduled for equipment pickup at Friendship Field. Coaches may contact the Equipment Manager during the regular season to obtain replacement or additional game equipment (usually baseballs). NWLL retains property of all equipment and it should be returned to the Equipment Manager at the end of the season. NWLL annually donates used equipment to non-profit programs promoting youth baseball.

Field Equipment and Pitching Machines
Field equipment and pitching machines for the AA Division are maintained by the Fields Manager. If you have any problems with the pitching machines or maintenance equipment in the sheds, please contact the Fields Manager at fields@nwlldc.org.
